On Saturday September 24th The Cherry Cola Festival will be invading and enthralling at venues across Shoreditch, showcasing a vast and exciting array of musical talent, both established and new. The brainchild of the man behind the famed 'Cherry Cola' club nights featured in 'Dazed & Confused', 'Disorder Magazine' and the NME, The Cherry Cola Festival will be filling the end-of-summer gap with a magnificent fusion of the best of old and new. Venues confirmed include The Macbeth, Underbelly, Concrete, The Old Blue Last and Catch 22, with a legendary line up to boot.
The Animals, part of the original Brit invasion of the 60's, are reformed and louder than ever. Expect classics such as "We Gotta Get Outta This Place" and "The House Of The Rising Sun".
Legendary Buzzcocks guitarist, Steve Diggle, will be delivering a set of punk-rock Buzzcocks classic and the immaculate Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene / Paul Weller playing his solo hits. Also on the bill are Noel Gallagher's first signing, Proud Mary, as well as the excellent Pop Levi and a whole host of local treasures, including Scanners, Brute Chorus, Babeshadow and, all the way from Denmark, The Good The Bad.
Don't miss out on the mayhem.
