To continue the celebration of "The Year Of The Doors," the band has unveiled a new video for the legendary track "L.A. Woman" today on their Youtube page (www.youtube.com/thedoors). The video finds professional skateboarders Kenny Anderson, Alex Olson, and Braydon Szafranski taking viewers on a "Doors-centric" skateboarding tour of Los Angeles. Their L.A. journey is filled with stops a many iconic spots from The Doors' storied career, from Venice Beach to Hollywood.
Viewers will be treated to many Doors references, ranging from obvious to subtle, as well as several cool "blink and you might miss them" cameos. The video was directed by two-time Emmy® nominee Matt Goodman and includes a new edit of "L.A. Woman," marking the first time an edited version of the iconic track has ever been released.
"The Year Of The Doors" kicked off in January with the release of the 2-CD L.A. Woman: 40th Anniversary Edition from Rhino and the DVD/Blu-Ray Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story Of L.A. Woman from Eagle Rock Entertainment. Look for more exciting developments in "The Year Of The Doors" to be announced soon.
