The Duke Spirit announce new album and UK dates

The Duke Spirit are pleased to announce details of their new album to be released in May.

'Bruiser', the band's third album, will be released on the 18th May 2011, and follows the release of last month's Kusama EP.

"We put the songs on a diet to make them sonically more articulate, left the white noise in the changing room and made sure every sound was tough, graceful and deftly placed to let the vocals soar and the guitar solos stand up." - Liela Moss, The Duke Spirit.

The band will also follow their recent sold-out UK dates with another headline tour to coincide with the album's release. Kicking off on the 16th May in Nottingham, the band conclude the tour 14 dates later in Brighton.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to fans today (Friday 4th March) through the band's website (http://thedukespirittickets.sandbag.uk.com/), and then on general sale from Monday 7th March at 9am.
