London-based quintet The Duke Spirit are set to return with a brilliant new EP which will be released on 22nd October on new independent label You Are Here.
The four track Ex Voto EP features brand new tracks 'Lassoo', 'Masca' and 'Dog Roses' – the first fruits of the band's recent Joshua Tree recording sessions with Queens Of The Stone Age and Soulwax producer Chris Goss at the infamous Rancho de la Luna studio. It will also feature a fourth new track – A Wild Hope - which was produced by the band themselves in London.
The Ex Voto EP will be available on CD and download and the track list is:

Meanwhile, The Duke Spirit are pleased to announce their return to the UK live circuit with an exclusive London date and a 10 date headline UK tour. The London show will take place at an intimate secret London location on Monday 8th October and tickets will only be available via a competition on the band's website – fans should go to www.dukespirit.com for more details.
The tour kicks off on 10th November at Liverpool's Korova and culminates in a 650 capacity London show at 229 on 21st November. The band will celebrate the headline tour and EP release by offering fans the chance to buy a ticket for one of the forthcoming shows and pre-order the Ex Voto EP at the same time for a combined price of £9.50. This offer will be available exclusively from the band's website – www.dukespirit.com - from Monday 10th September with the EP and ticket being mailed out to arrive on Monday 22nd October.
