Having recently hit the road with a series of stadium dates as support to U2, The Hours are forging ahead with work on their third album. They will preview new material - which follows the widespread critical acclaim that greeted this year's 'See The Light' set - with three intimate UK shows.
"We want to play some of the new songs we've been working on live," says frontman Ant Genn. "We feel this is the best stuff we've ever done and we're buzzin' to get in front of people and see what they make of it. I think they're gonna love it...we do!"
The low-key dates are:
November
2nd - London, Hoxton Bar and Grill
4th - Sheffield, The Plug
5th - Glasgow, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
Fronted by Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, The Hours have expanded to a six-piece band completed by Mark Neary, Richard Lobb, Mike Moore and Adam Gammage
'See The Light.' was produced by Flood (U2, The Killers, Depeche Mode) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, Blur, U2).
