The Killers cover Bowie

The Killers are paying tribute to David Bowie by covering one of his songs on their current North American tour.

The Las Vegas outfit performed 'Moonage Daydream' from Bowie's classic 'The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars' album during their set at Long Beach, California (October 6).

"We've been playing it every night," frontman Brandon Flowers told NME.COM. "We've done it four times now."

'Everything Will Be Alright', the final track on the band's album has also been added to the group's live set for the first time, featuring during the group's encore.

The Killers are currently on their final tour in support of debut album 'Hot Fuss', which wraps up on October 13 in Vancouver. After the jaunt, the group will head back to their hometown for a short break, before starting work on their second album.

"We're excited to have our new songs be heard," Flowers said, though warned fans they will have to wait until late 2006 for the album. "We want it to feel like an event when we come back.
