The Killers revel at T

The Killers have continued their domination of the summer with another show stopping festival set at T In The Park.

Following their appearances at Glastonbury and Live 8, the Los Vegas band's appearance produced loud sing-a-longs amongst the Kinross crowd.

Speaking to NME.COM frontman Brandon Flowers admitted it was great to get back to the familiar festival setting after a week of madness which saw the singer meet Bono and had Robbie Williams cover 'All These Things That I've Done' at Live 8.

'It was nice to play a full set again today. We were honoured to be a part of Live 8, we were the underdogs,' said Flowers adding that his band felt they had special duty to their Scottish audience today.

'Last time we played in Scotland we had the beer incident, it covered my keyboards so we only played a few songs, then last year at this festival we had problems with this festival and the guitars so we had to stop a couple of songs and ended early,' recalled the singer. 'So we really felt we had to earn our keep today, show them what we've got â€" and we did, I'm so excited.'

Following The Killers' recent festival performances here Flowers paid tribute British audiences.

'Whether it's England, Scotland or Ireland, the crowds are unbelievable and I'm not just saying that,' declared the singer. 'It's just a fact. Americans are more spoilt, we don't have that hunger for music because can watch TV a lot, go to movies, there's so much to do all the time. There are people who are hungry for this great music. So it's a treat for us to be a part of it.'
