Norway's Hove festival is proud to announce that The Killers (US) are now confirmed to headline this year's lineup. The Las Vegas quartet will play Hove on Tuesday 23rd of June, and it is the second time in three years the band visits the festival.
Quoted in Q Magazine, lead singer Brandon Flowers picked Hove 2007 as his best ever festival experience , and described his meeting with the Norwegian summer as "mind-blowing" and "incredible moving".
The Killers issued a statement on their web page saying:
"The Killers are pleased to announce a headline performance at Hove 09 in Norway. We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday 23rd of June. "
Hove Festival, now a part of Festival Republic (the organizers behind Glastonbury, Leeds an Reading and Latitude), takes place on the island of Tromøya on the southern coast of Norway. Headliners the last two years include Jay Z, Beck, Amy Winehouse, Arcade Fire, Kaiser Chiefs, Queens of The Stone Age, Slayer and of course The Killers.
