The Residents will be playing London's Barbican theatre in May as part of their 40th Anniversary tour:
Holding up the underground since 1972, American art collective The Residents celebrate four decades of unbridled creativity with The Wonder of Weird , their 40th anniversary tour. Having recently come out as Randy, Chuck and Bob after years of anonymity, the group now presents itself in concert as the ultimate offbeat power trio, pared down to guitar, keyboards and vocals. Shrugging its collective shoulders, the band re-interprets and devours its classic material, showcasing their vast music catalogue.

11th Kinoteka Polish Film Festival
Closing Night
Sun 17 Mar 2013 / 19:30, Cinema 1
Tickets: £12.50
Andy Votel presents a homage to Pan Kleks , a Polish trilogy of 1980s films for children. He draws on images, music and sound from the original films, selecting and subverting, to coax their darker side to the surface and create something wholly original, unsettling and – at times – weirdly humorous. The Pan Kleks trilogy was scored by Andrzej Korzyñski, a Warsaw composer whose unearthed catalogue Votel is currently releasing on his Finders Keepers label, including music written for Andrzej Ýuùawski's Possession . Kleksploitation was commissioned by Unsound and produced by the Barbican in association with the Polish Cultural Institute in London.
