The Saturdays singer Vanessa White is in a wheelchair after falling onstage.
The 20-year-old star tripped over a wire as the girl group ran out to greet their fans at a concert in Dundee, Scotland, on Wednesday (03.06.09).
As medics rushed to help the screaming beauty, her bandmates continued singing, apparently unaware of the incident.
A backstage crew member hastily told the remaining four girls - Mollie King, Una Healy, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman - about Vanessa's injury and Rochelle took over her lines.
Halfway through the show, Vanessa appeared on stage in a wheelchair with her leg in a cast. She didn't sing, but smiled and waved to fans, who claim she looked visibly distressed.
An onlooker said: "She looked like she was in pain. They wheeled her onto the stage and she was trying to smile but you could tell her leg really hurt. It looked like a serious injury."
Fans fear Vanessa won't be fit enough to perform when the band supports Take That in Sunderland on Saturday night (06.06.09).
Doctors were due to assess the severity of the injury yesterday (04.06.09), after a series of X-rays and tests.
Bandmate Frankie has posted a get well message on Vanessa's Twitter account. It reads: "Vanessa White what a bloomin star!!!!" We hope you recover soon, Vanessa!" (sic).
The group kicked off their UK tour in Glasgow on Tuesday night (03.06.09). They are due to perform another 24 shows.
