The Vaccines' producer has revealed that the band's new album is inspired by Sleater-Kinney's last release, The Woods.
The band are currently working on their third LP, the follow-up to 2012's Come Of Age, which is being produced by Dave Fridmann (Weezer, The Cribs, Tame Impala).
Speaking to NME, Fridmann said: "Most recently I've been working with The Vaccines, and they were like, 'Yeah, The Woods, The Woods!" referring to Sleater-Kinney's 2005 album which he also produced.
The Woods was the final album released by Sleater-Kinney, who were pivotal members of the riot grrrl scene in the 1990s.
The Vaccines released an EP, Melody Calling, in March last year, which they recorded in Los Angeles.
