The Voice UK winner Jermain Jackman has been confirmed as special guest for Mitch Winehouse's show at The Hippodrome in Leicester Square this Friday April 18th.
He will perform at the first of the venue's monthly concerts hosted by Winehouse, which aim to raise funds for The Amy Winehouse Foundation.
The Foundation helps vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and Jackman will show his support for this great cause and follow in the footsteps of the likes of previous special guests Joss Stone and Mica Paris when he performs two songs with Mitch and the band.
Watched by over 6.5 million viewers, Jackman beat stiff competition to be named champion of the BBC One show last week and the soulful Hackney-born singer, who has received support from Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole, has been rewarded with a major recording contract and has his sights set on becoming Prime Minister. This performance presents a rare opportunity to catch a true rising star in an intimate environment.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation concert takes place at The Hippodrome in Leicester Square this Friday 18th April. Tickets are priced from £20 and are available from http://www.hippodromecasino.com.
