First Florence & the Machine, now Lady Gaga: The Weeknd has been tapped to contribute a remix of one of Gaga's "Born This Way" hits to her forthcoming 14-track collection, "Born this Way The Remix," due out Nov. 21.
Other artists set to contribute to "Born this Way The Remix" include Foster the People and Michael Woods. A rep for the album could not confirm which Gaga song the Weeknd would be remixing.
Last month, Florence & the Machine released a remix to their second "Ceremonials" single, "Shake It Out," which featured the Weeknd's production skills. The mysterious R&B artist has also remixed Drake's song "Trust Issues," while the rapper recently said the of Weeknd, "He's on my album ['Take Care'] a lot... We really collaborated a lot on this album."
Although the Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye) has released a pair of acclaimed mixtapes, "House of Balloons" and "Thursday," the singer has yet to issue his debut full-length. Meanwhile, Gaga's "Born This Way The Remix" follows 2010's "The Remix," a collection of "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster" reworkings that has sold 249,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
