Last night's big winner at the 2003 MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS held in Edinburgh was pop phenomenon Justin Timberlake.
He grabbed the Best Album Award for 'Justified', Best Pop and Best Male awards.
Beyonce Knowles also took home two awards for Best R&B and Best Song for 'Crazy in Love'.
Horny hostess Christina Aguilera opened the night dressed as a nun, but
predictably this was soon discarded in favour of the first of many
outrageous outfits.
The diva then started a slagging-off contest with Kelly Osborne when she was shown back stage throwing darts at a dartboard with a picture of the delightful Kelly on it. The pair then continued tiresomely digging at each other throughout the evening. Seems to me both ideal candidates for another celebrity boxing match.
The evening's live highlights included Kraftwerk making their first ever television appearance and the White Stripes rocking the house with 'Seven Nation Army'. Critics' favourite The Darkness performed 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' turning up in a spaceship already showing its' age.
Kylie, Travis and The Roots made up the the live act numbers.
All in all another successful if hackneyed MTV Awards.
