Overview
The Wombats Gaymers Grassroots Gig in Liverpool on Tuesday 17th June was cancelled due to lead singer Matthew Murphy suffering from laryngitis.
The band's doctor declared that he was unfit to perform four hours before they were due to take to the stage. The Wombats are extremely disappointed and would like to apologise to those fans that were due to attend the gig.
The gig has been rescheduled for Wednesday 9th July at the same time and venue, and all competition winners' original tickets will remain valid for the new performance date.
While circumstances such as this are beyond our control, we are delighted that the gig has been rescheduled to take place within the next few weeks, and hope that all competition winners can join The Wombats for an exclusive performance on the 9th July.
