Overview
Tinchy Stryder recently visited the Grassroots Soccer Camp, sponsored by (RED), in the Khayelitsha township of Cape Town, South Africa.
(RED) and Grassroot Soccer, a youth HIV/AIDS education organisation that uses the power of soccer to fight HIV, hosted the camp, to provide a football and HIV education programme for local youths, aged between 12 and 16.
During his visit, Tinchy met the children and saw the work of the camp firsthand, including classes, music sessions and football games.
In addition to sponsoring the camp, (RED) partners sent members of staff to volunteer and assist the camp. (RED) money is also currently at work supporting HIV and AIDS programmes in Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia. For more information, visit www.joinred.com.
