Speaking before the MTV Movie Awards, the 23-year-old actor, who plays school bully Draco Malfoy in the franchise, joked that he had only turned up to watch the trailer from the forthcoming Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 that was due to be shown during the ceremony.
'It's been over, like, a year and a half since we shot it, and I haven't seen any of it,' he told MTV News.
'I'm excited to see the sneak peek. That's half the reason I'm here tonight, I want to see the sneak peek.'
And he said he is curious to see how he will look fighting the final battle in 3D.
'I'm not sure whether that will add or subtract to my screen presence, but we'll see,' he laughed.
Meanwhile Emma Watson admitted that she would feel sad once promotion for the final film, which is set for a July 15 release, is over.
Asked if she would shed a tear, she replied, 'Maybe a few. Maybe one or two, just little ones.'
