Greg Dulli brings Ani DiFranco, Mark Lanegan and The Verve's Nick McCabe to his new Twilight Singers album.
It has been five years since Greg Dulli, the mastermind behind the Afghan Whigs, released the last album from his project The Twilight Singers.
The Twilight Singers has been lauded by indie rock fans and Dulli returns with the sixth album Dynamite Steps after a long hiatus.
Previous albums have featured indie guests and Dynamite Steps follows the trend with appearances from Ani DiFranco, Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens Of The Stone Age), Nick McCabe ( The Verve), Ohio singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and Petra Haden (The Decemberists).
Dynamite Steps will be released on Sub Pop records on February 18, in Australia through Inertia.
