Lady Gaga will not add to the brightness of the City of Lights this weekend, as two of her Paris shows scheduled for this weekend have been postponed! The shows have been put on ice because of the strikes and protests currently occurring in France over the plan to raise the retirement age. The Gaga concerts were slotted for October 22 and 23 at Paris Bercy. The dates have been rescheduled already and will now take place on December 19 and 20!
Following is the statement that was posted on Gaga's website, saying that the shows were axed "as a result of the logistical difficulties due to the strikes in France. Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy for this weekend's shows, the Lady Gaga performances are now postponed. Lady Gaga apologizes to her fans for any inconvenience."
