Utah Saints to headline Willowman Festival

Dance legends Utah Saints have been confirmed to headline the 2012 Willowman festival. The Leeds based pioneers of electronic music first shot to fame in 1991 with their signature soundtrack "What Can You Do For Me."

The last two decades have seen the Saints making regular contributions to the UK top forty chart listings. Their unique approach to sampling and production has enabled them to constantly re-invent themselves.

Festival Director Steve Williams commented "We are delighted to announce Utah Saints as our Saturday night headliner. They are a timeless act that appeals to all ages and they are currently enjoying chart success in their collaboration with Drumsound and Bassline Smith."

Another notable addition to the Willowman billing is Inspiral Carpets member Clint Boon. Mr Boon is highly regarded for his eclectic DJ sets and his appearance promises to keep the masses dancing in the festival's Willow Wobbly bar stage.

The latest line up confirmations completes the billings for the festivals Main Stage and "Willow Wobbly" secondary stage. The acts add to a diverse billing which is a real mix of classic and breakthrough performers, ex Stranglers member Hugh Cornwell heads up the old school contingent which includes Neville Staples of The Specials fame and Public Image founder Jah Wobble with Keith Levene performing PiL's first ground breaking album Metal Box in Dub.

The event takes place at Lenthor Farm near the North Yorkshire town of Northallerton. Adult weekend tickets cost £70.
