Victoria Beckham ended her Olympic celebrations by midnight as she "isn't into big parties".
The singer-turned-fashion-designer regrouped with the Spice Girls to perform at the Olympics closing ceremony in London.
Victoria, Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell all had a blast on stage, with everyone but Victoria carrying on the celebrations well into the early hours.
A source says that although Victoria enjoyed the reunion, she gracefully bowed out of the drink-fuelled partying afterwards.
"Victoria absolutely loved being a popstar for the night, but she isn't into big parties, so she made an exit after they'd had some celebratory champagne at the Olympic Stadium," a source told British magazine Heat.
"She and [husband] David went back to their London hotel where their children had come back to earlier with their nannies."
Meanwhile, the other girls got chauffeur-driven cars to fellow performer George Michael's house to continue the festivities.
"Geri, Mel B and Emma were making loads of noise, laughing and dancing round the house and into the garden. It felt like the old Spice Girls were back. Mel C was a bit quieter and didn't stay long," the source added.
