Victoria Beckham is apparently "hurt and angry" because Geri Halliwell plans to re-launch the Spice Girls without her.
There has always been tension between the two stars, who were in the popular girl band along with Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C.
It looks like their friendship could be tested again, as the flame-haired singer allegedly had secret talks with manager Simon Fuller about reforming the band, minus the fashion designer.
"Victoria's hurt and angry. She had no idea this was being talked about. She's furious," a friend told British magazine Closer.
"Victoria would never re-join the Spice Girls anyway as she's got enough going on with her fashion brand and her family. But she's still part of the band and feels she should have been kept in the loop. It's really hurt her pride."
Victoria certainly has a lot on her plate, looking after children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with husband David.
Her hectic schedule meant Victoria was late for the launch of her band's theatre musical Viva Forever! in London last month.
Apparently her sloppy time-keeping could have something to do with the rift between the two women.
"Geri was furious," a source explained.
"She told Victoria that if she didn't want to be a Spice Girl anymore, she shouldn't have bothered coming to the premiere."
