The singer-turned-fashion designer, pregnant with her fourth child, said she does want a 'big family'.
But Victoria, who insists she doesn't know the sex of her baby, said she doesn't want to end up like Angelina Jolie, who has six children.
'[If I] don't have a girl this time, then maybe I'll be lucky enough and have a girl the next time,' she said.
Victoria, 36, has three sons with husband David Beckham.
Asked in a TV interview if she will have a fifth child, she said: 'There could be. Who knows?'
But she had doubts that she would make it to six.
'Well, I'm not Angelina. I don't know. I mean, come on,' she told CNN.
Victoria also confirmed that future princess-to-be Kate Middleton has reached out to her.
'She asked to try on some dresses,' Victoria said.
Interviewer Alina Cho asked her: 'Wedding dresses?'
'No, no I'm not ready for a wedding dress yet!' she laughed.
