Victoria Beckham is looking forward to spending "quality time" with David following his move to Paris.
The singer-turned-fashion designer is thrilled that her soccer star husband has clinched a deal with French team Paris Saint-Germain. She believes the signing will be a boost to both David's career and her fashion ambitions, and add a spark to their romantic life.
"Victoria refused to be left out of the decision. It was getting stressful as there was just so much to decide between – but then they realised Paris would work for both of them, and make them really happy too," a source told British magazine Closer. "This way, they get to live in the UK near family, she can open her first store in London, and she has a link to fashion capital Paris for work. They love the city and have great memories of it… She sees it as an opportunity for quality time with David, and hopes it'll be really romantic.
"She thinks a romantic city like Paris will put the spark back into their marriage – especially as she can jet over there when the kids are in school. Her parents are now on hand to babysit!"
Victoria recently admitted she is missing Los Angeles, after the family returned to the UK at the end of last year when David left LA Galaxy. However, she realises the move will be good for the whole family.
"She's still a bit low about being in London and blames it on missing LA and the sunshine. But she's excited now that she and David have their next project," the source added. "They feel they can conquer Paris together and there's nothing to hold them back."
