The couple, who have been married for 11 years, managed to celebrate their first Valentine's Day together since 2004 and enjoyed a cosy meal at New York restaurant ABC Kicthen.
But a diner told Now magazine that David was on the receiving end of a light-hearted telling-off.
'Victoria suddenly blurted out, 'Finally!'', said the eyewitness. 'David was like, 'Finally what?''
'She told him, 'You finally decided to be romantic and do something for Valentine's Day. I can't remember the last time. You don't think it's important, but it is to me.'
'He laughed, but she told him she wasn't joking and said it was about time he was more romantic. So he told her the pregnancy has made him feel closer to her than ever before. It was unbelievably sweet.'
