Victoria Beckham ‘to have baby in UK’

Victoria and her husband David announced that they are expecting a fourth child yesterday.

The British couple have made no secret of their desire to have a large family, with both admitting they would love to have a daughter.

They are currently based in Los Angeles, as soccer star David plays for LA Galaxy. However, 36-year-old Victoria is believed to be keen to have the baby – which is due in the summer – in her home country so she can be near her parents and her sister.

“She’d love a little girl but would be delighted with a boy, too. Victoria was adamant she wanted to give birth in Britain,” a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. “It’s her home and she didn’t want to be away from her family.”

David and Victoria own an impressive mansion - dubbed Beckingham Palace - in Hertfordshire, and sparked rumours they are planning to spend more time in the UK after reportedly enrolling their kids into a private school near the property.

Last night David revealed he is thrilled at the prospect of expanding his family. The 35-year-old took to his Facebook account to announce the happy news and said his three sons – 11-year-old Brooklyn, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five - were also delighted.

“I’ve got some great news to tell you all. Victoria and I are expecting our fourth child this summer,” he wrote. “The boys are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister.”
