Rocklouder Records are very proud to announce the release of Viva Machine's self-titled debut album. Dropping on June 15th it will be available on CD and as a digital download.
Viva Machine have fast earned a reputation as a fearsome live band and have gained much sought after support slots with the likes of LA rockers Shiny Toy Guns and fellow Welsh natives The Automatic. After honing the tracks written for the record with a heavy touring schedule that saw them travel the breadth of Europe from Manchester to Moscow, the album was recorded in sessions right through 2008 with producer Richard Jackson (Future Of The Left, Threatmantics, 60ft Dolls) at the helm. The band then released 'Robot Bodyrox' as their first single via Rocklouder Records at the tailend of the year, whilst embarking on their debut nationwide headline tour in support of it.
With a further album teaser being made available as 'A Futuristic Dracula' graced the covermount CD for the Xmas 2008 edition of Rock Sound Magazine, the band took a short break for the beginning of this year so bassist Tom could complete his Political History degree. With mere thousands of words left in his dissertation and finals looming, Rocklouder Records can now officially announce the album's release date as June 15th.
Album track 'Earthquakers and Loveshakers' will be released as a free download single in late May to coincide with the soon to be announced tour.
Viva Machine are Chris Seacombe (vocals), Thomas Stephens (bass/vocals), Gareth Carter (guitar, vocals), Dai Francis (drums) and recent new addition Justin Hendy (keys, guitar, vocals).
