We Came As Romans to Headline Motel 6 "Rock Yourself to Sleep" Tour

At first glance, the Motel 6 "Rock Yourself to Sleep" tour sounds like an exercise in futility. Rock is supposed to get you juices flowing, your blood pumping and adrenaline coursing through those veins of yours, so isn't the concept of a tour putting you to sleep a bit counterintuitive?

Nevertheless, We Came As Romans will kick off the new year as the headline act on the Motel 6 "Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour." They will be joined for the full US tour will be For Today, The Word Alive, Woe Is Me, and labelmates Texas In July.

About that whole "Rock Yourself to Sleep" thing? The counterintuitive name is misleading! As part of the Motel 6 "Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour," We Came As Romans and all supporting bands will receive free accommodations for each night of the 32-city, five-week tour, courtesy of Motel 6 and Primary Wave Music. "I was already stoked for the headliner, just because of the amazing bands on it," said We Came As Romans' guitarist Joshua Moore in a statement. "But we're so honored to have Motel 6 be a part of this, since we stay at their locations all the time. It is a HUGE help to have free hotel rooms for the tour, I feel blessed!"

I cannot say I blame him. If you've ever toured, a hotel accommodation is seriously your bestest friend. It can be a godsend to sleep in a clean, warm bed. Especially in extreme weather conditions.
