The White Stripes have pulled their UK concert dates just days after announcing they had cancelled their entire US tour because member Meg White is unwell.
Gigs planned for October and November have been scrapped after the band said they would not play for the rest of 2007.
The news came on their website, explaining White's "acute anxiety" would prevent her from travelling between the different venues.
A statement said: "The White Stripes announced that they are cancelling their forthcoming tour due to health issues.
"Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time.
"The White Stripes sincerely apologise to their fans. We hate to let people down and are very sorry."
Fans who already hold tickets have been advised they can obtain refunds.document.write(unescape("
