American rock duo The White Stripes have returned to the studio, following Meg White's recent bout of ill health.
The band's drummer was diagnosed with acute anxiety in September, prompting the cancellation of a series of shows across the globe.
In a mail-out to their fans, Jack and Meg have now confirmed the group is back on track and recently worked on a new song "with a special collaboration".
It reads: "The White Stripes have just filmed an exciting new video and recorded three never before heard original songs (with a special collaboration) and one unique new version of a song from their latest album 'Icky Thump'."
The Detroit based band are yet to reschedule the postponed concerts, which were set to include a massive show at the O2 Arena in London.document.write(unescape("
