Will Smith has topped a list of America's Favourite Stars.
The 'I Am Legend' actor was voted in at number one by readers of Parade magazine and viewers of US TV show 'Entertainment Tonight'.
The 40-year-old star – who is married to 'The Women' actress Jada Pinkett Smith – beat off competition from second place winner Tom Hanks and third favourite Reese Witherspoon.
Will said: "I think a large part of why I've been successful is that I have, essentially, a white-collar career with a blue-collar mentality. "I can never really relax. I'm always waiting to see what's next. It's always, 'OK, something different is going to happen here.' "
Parade magazine praised the actor, saying: "Will Smith seems to glide from success to success without much effort. He's a big presence. When he walks into a room, you know he's there."
'Forrest Gump' star Tom insists he doesn't think he deserves to have so much praise bestowed on him.
He said: "To me, this isn't work - to go off and pretend to be somebody else. "I couldn't believe when they paid me $285 a week to act, much less the raises I've received since. I shouldn't be called the nicest guy in Hollywood. I should be called the luckiest guy."
The list also includes 'Burn After Reading' actor Brad Pitt, former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston, who was married to Brad, and Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney.
