The 12 finalists of this year's series of The X Factor have knocked Girls Aloud from the top of the UK singles chart.
Their cover of Mariah Carey's 1993 hit, 'Hero', was recorded for Help for Heroes, which provides support for wounded servicemen and women, and the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
Girls Aloud's 'The Promise' now sits at No.2, with Pink's 'So What' at No.3.
Early '90s acid house raver Guru Josh is celebrating his second taste of success. Guru Josh Project are this week's No.4 with 'Infinity 2008'.
Completing this week's Top 5 is Kings Of Leon's 'Sex On Fire'.
Elsewhere, Pink has cause for celebration after entering the UK album chart at No.1 with her fifth studio opus, Funhouse.
