X Factor 'Midas Act' for 2011 revealed

That's the auditions over. Finished! The End....and that means one thing, I must name my X Factor Midas Act for 2011.

Last year from a very early stage I said that One Direction would go all the way to the 2010 X-Factor Final, so the pressure is really on for my 2011 prediction.

The act that I will be supporting throughout this years show is...Janet Devlin from Northern Ireland.

Since 2006 my 'Midas' Acts have gone on to make 28 Finals from 32 shows, a record so good, that a journalist was quoted as saying "If Dean picks you as his Midas act, book your hotel for Finals night"

I think Janet has it all, the looks, the likeability and a stunning, unique voice. If she does not make the X Factor Final this year I will be stunned.

Last year people laughed when I chose One Direction as my Midas Act, and a top agency manager even said they would be lucky to finish in the top 6. One year on they sit at Number One in the UK top 40, with the fastest selling first week sales so far this year.

In terms of the best of the rest, I think Misha Bryan is a big threat along with Amelia Lily. From the boys section, I think Marcus Collins is one to watch.
