You Say Party! We Say Die! drummer dies after collapsing onstage

You Say Party! We Say Die! drummer Devon Clifford has died after collapsing during the bands gig in Vancouver on Friday (April 16).

Clifford, 30, was rushed to hospital after apparently suffered a brain haemorrhage.

The drummer had undergone emergency neurosurgery, after which he was put on full life support, but passed away yesterday morning.

The Canadian dance-punks have been left shattered by news. They were set to return later this year with their new album and had just completed a tour of their native Canada debuting new material from their soon to be released second album.

A tribute from the band's record label Paper Bag said:

"It is with absolute sadness to report that our dear friend Devon Clifford passed away just hours ago in a Vancouver hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. I request that we respect the family's privacy during this incredibly difficult time."
