As such, most of its expressions are not correct in modern Spanish (e.g. the term "arbolé" -tree-, once correct, is not in use any longer, having been replaced by "árbol". Also, it is considered old-fahsioned and not quite correct to add the pronoun to the end of reflexive verbs, hence, for example, it should sey "se meneaban" instead of "meneábanse". Still, this remains a widely known song, and is still nowadays widely taught to children at elementary schools.
