Anne Hathaway competes for Batman role

The Love And Other Drugs star is believed to be up against Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley and Blake Lively for a role in the Christopher Nolan movie.

While she admitted that she is in the running, she refused to confirm which actresses she is up against.

She told Deadline.com, 'Of course, but that has always been the case. There is always competition. I don't know how to answer that question. It feels too revealing, somehow.'

She went on to reveal that despite spending the majority of Love And Other drugs naked, the film she has felt most uncomfortable on was actually The Devil Wears Prada.

The 28-year-old explained, 'I never felt like I belonged on Devil. I remember that the best I felt on that movie came where I got out of Meryl's way with a little bit of grace. But I never felt in any way like I went toe-to-toe or held my own. It was about trying to just be there, and know when to get out of Meryl's way.'
