The One Day actress has quietly dated actor Shulman for more than two-and-a-half years, and the 28-year-old has revealed she's loving life under the radar.
Hathaway ended her four-year relationship with former lover Raffaello Follieri amid fraud allegations in 2008.
And now her love life is really looking up as she admits dating Adam is much more chilled out.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine: 'So far, it's worked out great... Mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.'
