Actress Anne Hathaway has confirmed that Chritopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises is not going to disappoint fans.
The Love and Other Drugs star, who will be playing Selina Kyle in the third and last installment of Batman franchise, insisted that The Dark Knight Rises was 'really good'.
Hathaway recently discussed her casting with Total Film, but refused to share details on her character in the film, and explianed she was sworn to secrecy.
When pressed for more information about Catwoman, she said: "I signed a blood oath. Bloody thumbprint on the paper."
However the actress explained why she was wanted the part of Selina Kyle: "I went after it because it was the best role and Chris was willing to meet me." "I want to be the best actress I can be and that means working with the best people and taking the most challenging roles. That’s the plan and so far it’s led to some really exciting places," she explained.The Dark Knight Rises will see Christian Bale reprise his role as Batman and Tom Hardy play villain Bane. Other cast members will include Gary Oldman, Micheal Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released July 20, 2012.
