Pop star Ariana Grande has reportedly ditched Scooter Braun as her co-manager after three years together.
The Problem singer signed to Scooter's roster in 2013, joining Justin Bieber among his famous clientele, and she went on to experience huge success with the music guru as her mentor.
However, Ariana has since parted ways with Scooter, according to multiple reports.
The two celebrities have yet to officially comment on the news, but an insider insists rumours suggesting Bieber had something to do with the 22-year-old's decision are unfounded.
"Ariana always has and continues to support Justin," a source tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight. "She did not think the relationship was working for her professionally anymore. It was time to move on.
"She thinks this is the best professional decision for her moving forward."
It is not known if Ariana is seeking to replace Scooter on her team, which includes her longtime manager Stephanie Simon from Untitled Entertainment.
The singer previously admitted she treated Scooter as a father figure because she "barely" sees her own dad, Edward Butera, who split from her mum Joan Grande when she was a child.
"(Scooter)'s like a stepdad," she told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper in 2014. "I barely see (my father), but when I do it's very pleasant. I love my dad. That was very hard as a young girl when my parents got divorced. Being in the middle of it was so stressful. And of course being made up of both of them - I was like, 'Hey, if they both dislike each other's attributes so much, what am I to like about me? I'm made from these two people and I'm caught in the middle of all this fighting.' It was traumatic."
