Ariana Grande's doctor has concluded she's a "bulletproof b***h".
The 22-year-old singer had to cancel her show in Sacramento on September 6 after announcing she was ill on Twitter. She rescheduled for Thursday September 10 and has now had the all clear, with even medical professionals surprised she's bounced back so quickly.
"despite being horribly sick my chords are pretty & perfectly healthy! no idea how but damn I'm thanking the heavens!! thank u lordtt!" she updated her fans on Twitter.
"my doctor looked at my vocal chords today after a week of coughing and months straight of singing and called me a "bullet proof b***h". (sic)"
Followers were overjoyed at the news, tweeting how glad they are that Ariana is feeling better.
"wow I'm so excited to sing for y'all tomorrow. thank God!!!" she added.
"thank you babes for the well wishes you're a buncha angels. love you & I'll be better soon. can't wait to see you at tomorrow's show. (sic)"
Ariana will play in Chula Vista tomorrow and will then perform her make-up concert in Sacramento on Thursday. Her Honeymoon Tour runs through until October, when she'll finish up with a gig in Brazil.
She's not the first singer to fear for her vocal cords; Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor and Adele have all suffered problems and cancelled shows due to medical issues that made singing dangerous.
