Bookmakers have named Metallica and Prince as favourites to headline this year's Glastobury Festival.
Paddy Power have placed Prince joint favourite with Metallica with odds at 5/4 - despite Glasto boss Emily Eavis saying that an appearance from the Purple One 'wasn't happening this year'.
Metallica however, have long been rumoured to play since drummer Lars Ulrich said the band would love to play, adding: "It's the one festival to elude us."
The slot in question is for Saturday 28 June on the Pyramid Stage, with Arcade Fire confirmed to headline the Friday and bookies suspending bets on Kasabian headlining the Sunday.
Other odds include Fleetwood Mac at 9/1 and Elbow at 10/1.
Lana Del Rey has also recently 'self-confirmed' to be performing on Saturday 28 June. The Black Keys, Dolly Parton, Stanton Warriors and Korean singer Choi Go-eun are also on the line-up. Blondie, Warpaint, Suzanne Vega and Lily Allen have confirmed themselves for an appearance, while Kasabian, Prince, Elbow, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters and Daft Punk are also strongly rumoured.
Glastonbury festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 June, 2014.
