It seems like Geordie Cheryl has been given the green light to keep her accent if she gets her dream job as a judge on the US version of hit talent show.
Fox Networks group chairman of entertainment Peter Rice praised the 27-year-old, although her £3million judging deal has not yet been confirmed.
Speaking at a TV critics' convention Peter said: 'If Cheryl was to be on the show, she's proved that she's a terrific judge.
'She has wonderful chemistry with Simon.'
Rice added that the final judges' line-up is yet to be decided.
