TMZ was the first to report that English star Cheryl Cole has been dropped from the judge's panel on the forthcoming The X Factor talent competition.
Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls fame, who was initially hired to host the show, is rumored to step into Cole's now-vacant seat. Drama.
Cole's thick accent and a lack of chemistry with Paula Abdul were cited as reasons for her being dropped. She is also an unknown in the US, despite being huge overseas.
