Bosses at fast-food chain Abrakebabra were reportedly so excited when they found out that Cheryl had been praising their store that they issued her the exclusive card, putting her in company with fellow celebrity fans Bono, Colin Farrell and Brian McFadden.
According to the Daily Star, Cheryl, 28, admitted, 'There is a kebab shop in Dublin called Abrakebabra which is good after a night out.'
And an insider said that the news has whipped locals into a frenzy.
'Everyone's really excited that Cheryl is a big fan.
'Some of the local shops have put up pictures of her and have been telling customers she's a huge fan. Local radio stations have also been talking about it.
'Cheryl comes over to Dublin a lot. She can just walk around without people hassling her. She's well known for going to the chippy back in Newcastle and now she's snubbing posh food in Ireland too.
'That's why everyone loves Cheryl. She's so down to earth and normal.'
A spokeswoman for Abrakebabra added, 'Louis Walsh will be delivering Cheryl's gold card over to her in the UK.'
