Overview
The 27-year-old is up for two Brit Awards in the categories for Best British Single, for her track Parachute and Best British Female Artist, as revealed at a ceremony last night at the IndigO2 venue in London.
Cheryl had been criticised for miming part of her performance of single Promise This on this year's X Factor.
Leading the way in the nominations is rapper Tinie Tempah, who has been shortlisted in four categories.
Although Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle has once again been snubbed by the Brit Awards.
The annual awards ceremony will take place at the 02 on February 15 and will be hosted by British funnyman James Corden.
