The divorced couple are believed to be making another go of their relationship. However, the 28-year-old Girls Aloud singer is said to have told her other half that he can't spend as much time out drinking with his football mates.
A source told The Sun, 'Cheryl can't stand some of Ashley's mates. She's convinced a couple of the bad eggs are responsible for him straying.
'She's really cracking down on his nights out.
'There's no more, 'I'm off out, don't wait up' lines coming from him. She's not taking any prisoners.'
The couple are apparently planning a holiday together to discuss their future, but the source added that Cheryl's real interest lies in starting a family.
'Cheryl really isn't bothered about marriage. Kids are her No1 priority.
'She knows her biological clock is ticking and wants to be a mum before she's 30.'
