Cheryl Cole has released her new track ‘Love Killer’, with fans speculating that the lyrics are about her estranged ex-husband Ashley Cole.
After reportedly still struggling to get over her relationship with the footballer, who was accused of cheating on the singer several times, she spoke in an interview with Piers Morgan, saying, 'I wasn’t a footballer’s wife living in an ivory tower. I was just a heartbroken girl.
Adding, 'There’s part of us that will always love him, of course. And I love his family. And I love what we had.'
The single ‘Love Killer’ has lyrics such as, 'Why do I love you so much when you're a love killer.' And ‘I’m in love with the love killer’.
Whatever the truth in the inspiration behind her newest single, Cheryl has recently completed work on her third solo album ‘A Million Lights’, which will be released on June 18.
