Cheryl Cole is still optimistic that she can forge a Hollywood career for herself.
The singer seemed destined to crack the US after landing a judging spot on X-Factor USA, but found her plans in tatters after being axed from the show.
A source close to the 28-year-old told The Daily Star Sunday: "Cheryl still sees her future being in America.
"She is in talks for three film roles and is eager to get back to LA to finish her album.
"There's lots of rumours about her making a big UK TV comeback but that's not going to happen."
The BBC has confirmed that Cole was not in the running for a job on The Voice, with Cheryl herself denying rumours linking her to Britain's Got Talent.
