Overview
The Fight For This Love singer’s second solo album, Messy Little Raindrops, features a track, Happy Tears, which appears to be directed at the footballer.
In the tune, the 27-year-old sings about slashing her lover’s tyres, burning their clothes, and selling all her diamonds, and includes the lyrics, “I cried when I heard you were cheating… I sold all the diamonds and burnt all your clothes…”
The album features eight new tracks, recorded during what has turned out to be one of the Geordie pop star’s toughest years yet.
The album is set for release on 1 November.
