Cheryl Cole reportedly stormed out of an interview after being asked about her solo plans.
The Girls Aloud singer was livid when the group were asked if they are planning to split up - moments after they had picked up their first BRIT award for Best British Single last night (18.02.09).
Cheryl is quoted as telling the interviewer: "Why are you asking a question like that? We have just won this award voted for by the public. That's ridiculous. You ruined the moment".
The 'Promise' singer then walked out of the interview, taking the rest of the group with her.
Earlier in the day, it had been feared Kimberley Walsh would be unable to join her bandmates on stage to perform 'The Promise' - the track which landed them their award - at the ceremony after she fell during rehearsals.
A source said: "She tripped up in her huge high heels. The pain got too much and she had to hobble off in agony. She was taken for an emergency leg message and everyone thought she wouldn't make the show."
